Academymuseum.org is the official website for the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, a museum dedicated to the art and science of movies. The website aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the museum's offerings and facilitate visitor engagement with the world of cinema.
The Problem
Academy Museum faced challenges in maintaining design consistency during a website redesign due to a lack of a unified design system. This resulted in time-consuming rework, inconsistent user experiences, and inefficient collaboration between designers and developers. Additionally, the absence of streamlined handoff processes caused delays and misunderstandings during project implementation.
